Despite nearly 500 total yards of offense, including over 400 passing yards from Junior Mason Troyer who came in for injured starter Kinnick Kalbus, the Stony Point Tigers couldn’t keep up with McNeil in a 55-30 loss. While the Tigers found success through the air, McNeil’s powerful rushing attack, combined with key absences on defense for Stony Point, made it difficult to close the gap. Though the offense fought hard, the defense struggled to slow McNeil, leading to a tough outcome for the Tigers.
The Tigers will take the field next against Cedar Ridge on October 4th at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex.
